Dr. Vijay Sharma is a highly regarded Medical Gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, in 1998, followed by an MD in General Medicine from RNT Medical College Jaipur in 2003. He then pursued DM in Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow in 2007, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship (Advanced Endoscopy) at the University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark in year 2008, Masters from university of oxford.

Dr. Sharma is a life member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG), Indian National Association for the Study of Liver (INASL), Society of GI Endoscopy of india (SGEI), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and the Regional Institute of Health, Medicine, and Research (RIHMR), Jaipur, India.

Throughout his career, he has received several awards for his outstanding contributions to the field of gastroenterology, including the Young Investigator Award at Asia Pacific Digestive Week in 2005 & 2007 and the Presidential Poster Award at the Annual Meeting of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology 2005, Best paper presentation (ISGCON), Best poster UEGW 2011, young scientist fellowship UEGW 2009.

Dr. Sharma has published numerous papers, case reports, and abstracts in international and national journals, showcasing his dedication to advancing the field of gastroenterology. Currently, he serves as the Director of Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Metro Mas Hospital, Jaipur, where he continues to provide exceptional patient care and drive innovation in his field.
