Why “MCRD”?
A state-of-the-art approach that pinpoints each patient’s exact allergen proteins—unlocking targeted treatment plans that conventional IgE tests can miss.

Our Diagnostic Services

We offer a comprehensive allergy evaluation portfolio designed to uncover hidden triggers and guide tailored therapies:

CRD Testing (Component-Resolved Diagnostics)

  • Profiles more than 100 allergen components (pollens, dust mites, foods, venoms) from a single blood sample.
  • Enables precise risk stratification for both paediatric and adult patients.

Skin Prick & Intradermal Testing

  • Rapid in vivo IgE assessment for immediate hypersensitivity reactions such as pollen, dust mite allergies.
  • Essential for diagnosing skin and respiratory allergy triggers.

Patch Testing

  • Standardized evaluation of delayed-type contact dermatitis including eczema.
  • Identifies chemicals, metals, fragrances, and topical agents causing chronic rashes.

Pulmonary & Nasal Analytics

Our Department of Pulmonology is equipped with:

  • Advanced Spirometry — accurate lung function measurement to detect airway obstruction.
  • Impulse & Forced Oscillometry — detailed assessment of small airway resistance and reactance.
  • Rhinomanometry — measures nasal airflow resistance in allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.
  • Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) — non-invasive marker of airway inflammation.
  • Provocation Testing (Nasal & Bronchial) — gold-standard allergen challenge tests to confirm sensitivities and guide immunotherapy.
  • Cough Assist Devices & Induced Sputum Analysis — facilitate sample collection and diagnosis in chronic cough patients.

Provocation Challenges

  • Nasal Provocation Test: confirms allergic rhinitis sensitivities by controlled allergen exposure.
  • Bronchial Provocation Test: helps diagnose occupational asthma and exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
  • Supports informed immunotherapy decisions.

Tailored Treatment Modalities

Our treatment armamentarium includes:

Pharmacotherapy & Biologics

  • Anti-IgE therapy (e.g., omalizumab) and anti-IL-5/5R agents (e.g., mepolizumab, benralizumab) for refractory asthma and severe allergic rhinosinusitis.
  • Evidence-based protocols aligned with Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) and Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma (ARIA) guidelines.

Immunotherapy (Allergy Shots & SLIT)

  • Subcutaneous Immunotherapy (SCIT): Customized allergen extracts (dust mites, pollens, insect venoms) administered under supervision to build long-term tolerance.
  • Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT): Daily sublingual drops/tablets  suited for for paediatric compliance, approved by EAACI for safety and efficacy.
  • International-standard dosing regimens customized to each patient’s CRD profile.

Supportive Care & Lifestyle Guidance

  • Recommendations on air purifiers, dust mite-proof covers, and environmental control adapted to Delhi NCR’s pollution and pollen levels.
  • Nutritional counselling for food allergy management, including elimination diets and cross-reactivity advice.

Conditions We Treat

From childhood to adulthood, our experts manage the complete allergy spectrum:

Respiratory Allergies:

  • Asthma (allergic & non-allergic)
  • Allergic Rhinitis &Rhinoconjunctivitis
  • Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA)
  • Allergic Fungal Rhinosinusitis (AFRS)

Skin Allergies:

  • Atopic Dermatitis / Eczema
  • Urticaria (chronic & acute)
  • Contact Dermatitis (patch-test guided)

Food, Drug & Venom Allergies:

  • Immediate Hypersensitivity (peanuts, tree nuts, milk)
  • Anaphylaxis-Ready Management (epi-pens, emergency action plans)
  • Drug Desensitization Protocols (e.g., penicillin, NSAIDs)
  • Venom Sensitization & Desensitization (bee, wasp stings)

If you or your child suffer from persistent sneezing, itching, skin rashes, wheeze, or recurrent cough, our multi-modal approach can identify hidden triggers and provide lasting relief.

Frequently asked questions

CRD testing uses molecular markers (protein components) to identify the precise building blocks of an allergen (e.g., unique pollen proteins or peanut storage proteins). Unlike traditional IgE tests that use whole-allergen extracts, CRD pinpoints each reactive molecule—enabling truly personalized immunotherapy plans.

Avoid antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, and certain other medications at least 5 days before your appointment, as these can suppress skin reactivity. You may eat normally and wear loose clothing to expose the forearm.

Yes. Our pediatric SLIT and SCIT protocols follow European Immunotherapy Guidelines—dosages are carefully calculated by age and weight. We monitor all pediatric patients for 30 minutes post-injection or drop to ensure safety.

A single blood draw is sent to our molecular lab; results for > 100 components are usually available within 5–7 business days. Once CRD results arrive, we schedule a follow-up visit to review personalized immunotherapy plans.
