The following terms and conditions govern all your transactions with respect to the Services including online appointment booking, payment and refunds, and/or any and all other transactions through the Website or through its authorized third-party websites.
The Services available on the Website do not in any way constitute an invitation or recommendation to avail the Services. The Services provided through the Website are not intended to be a substitute for face-to-face consultation with a health practitioner. Metro advises users to make an independent determination in respect of its accuracy, usefulness, and suitability prior to making any decision in reliance hereof.
1. Availability, Appointment, Rescheduling and/or Cancellation
- Services shall be available for various specialties & investigations and as per the fees listed on the Website.
- The Services with respect to a specific doctor/physician or investigations shall be available subject to their availability or the availability of equipment/machines. Confirmation of your appointment shall be sent to you via SMS and/or email. Metro reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment without prior notice.
- The appointment time provided to you is indicative; actual consultation time may vary.
- Your appointment shall be deemed cancelled in case of your absence at the appointed time.
2. User Submissions/Disclosures
- You are required to submit/upload relevant personal and clinical information on the Website for seeking appropriate advice related to the condition of the patient. This information may include name, age, gender, address, clinical history, reports, prescriptions, and contact details.
- You are advised to provide complete and accurate information. If the information is found incomplete/false/misleading, Metro reserves the right to cancel your appointment without liability.
- Metro may use your information for providing Services including analysis, research, training, and disclosure (where required) to affiliates, agents, or authorities.
- Metro or its on-board service provider may contact you for requested services including follow-up.
- You must keep your login credentials confidential. Sharing login details with a third party may make your medical/clinical information accessible to them. Metro shall not be responsible in such cases.
- Metro reserves the right to remove files uploaded by you after 3 months of your appointment, and prescriptions uploaded by doctors after 3 years.
3. Mode of Communication
- Services shall be provided via (i) video conferencing (for consults) or (ii) in-person visits. Ensure proper equipment and internet connectivity for video consultations. In case of technical issues, the appointment may be rescheduled or cancelled.
- Video consults are remote consultations without physical examination; advice given must be clinically correlated with physical findings.
- Metro shall not be liable for misdiagnosis resulting from incomplete information, suppression of facts, or misinterpretation of advice/prescriptions.
- Services are not meant for emergencies or life-threatening conditions. Patients must visit the nearest hospital in such cases.
4. Device Permissions
Metro Group of Hospitals does not operate any official mobile application. Appointments can only be booked via the official website https://metrohospitals.com/ or through walk-in registration at hospital reception.
5. Cookies
To store your preferences and track activity, the Website may use “Cookies”. By visiting the Website, you authorize Metro to place cookies on your browser.
6. Service Fees & Prescription Letter
- Services are available subject to payment of consultation fees as per the Website.
- For online/video consults, the prescription letter shall be made available after receipt of Service Fees.
7. Electronic Payments/Refunds
- Payments may be made via internet banking or debit/credit card through our secure payment gateway partners.
- Metro shall not be liable if you provide incorrect card details, use a card not lawfully owned by you, or share credentials with a third party.
- Refunds may be requested if (i) an appointment is cancelled by Metro or by you; or (ii) a valid prescription is not provided. Refunds will be processed within 15 working days.
8. Use of Content; Copyright
Metro owns the Website, its intellectual property, and materials therein. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
9. Privacy and Security
Metro uses secure encryption technology to protect your information. Despite this, breaches may occur, and Metro shall not be liable for losses due to security issues beyond its control.

- No complimentary follow-up consult is applicable for “Instant General Physician consult”.
