21st June is celebrated as International Yoga Day worldwide as June 21st is the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.
What is Yoga???
What yoga exactly means to you? Is it a form of exercise? Or a religion, an ideology or a philosophy? Or it’s something completely different? The literal meaning of yoga is “Union” derived from Sanskrit language.
Overview
Yoga is a disciple and invaluable gift of India and its 5000 years old tradition. It has both spiritual and physical benefits. The aim of yoga enthusiasts is completely different from one another. Some are inspired by the Spiritual element that yoga gives, while others like the Fitness and Flexibility that it shows up. For some people yoga provides solution for varied Health Disorders while others have achieved an All-Round Development of a calm, stress free life and healthy body.
