Dr. Anand completed his MBBS and MS from Institute of Ophthalmology, AMU, Aligarh. He then did fellowships from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai which is a WHO collaborative centre for prevention of blindness. He did a fellowship in General Ophthalmology and another fellowship in Glaucoma, Anterior segment microsurgery and lasers.
