He has successfully performed more than 2,500 liver transplants (living & deceased donor) and around 15,000 complex hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and gastrointestinal (GI) surgeries.

With advanced training at King’s College Hospital, London (UK) in deceased donor liver transplant and HPB surgery, Dr. Lalwani has emerged as one of the leading figures in liver transplant and minimally invasive GI surgery in India.
